We used WBC to carry out major groundworks in our garden ( working to plans drawn up by a garden designer)

They restructured our huge pond into three small ponds with a stream flowing between.

They also repaved our terrace and replaced all the gravel area around our house. They were meticulous in their attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble. Richard was always available ( largely no doubt thanks to my wife's cake!) and always had some useful and practical; tips and ideas.

The team worked hard, were alwyas punctual and reliable- and cleaned up after themselves every day. They were also good company.

This was a substantial job which was done to budget and there were no hidden surprises in the final bill.

This is the second job we have employed WBC for as they also sorted out the drainage and concreted the hardstanding in our yard which was also done superbly.

Co-operative Farms
WBC Civil Engineering Contractors have constructed a number of buildings across the Co-operative Farms business over the last 20 years. Their buildings have been excellent and have stood the test of time. They project managed the excavations, ground works, drainage, the steel frame buildings and the concrete works as a single cohesive project.

They have also dealt with the tricky area of CDM. WBC worked alongside other contractors, who were involved with the fit-out of the buildings with specialist equipment.

Their latest project was the construction of a 6,000 Tonne grain store and 3,000 Tonne refrigerated potato store on our Fenland farm. The construction project was completed on time to a high standard. We have been very pleased with WBC’s performance.

When looking for a new civil engineering and structural building contractors for the Cadbury Marlbrook site some 5 years ago, I was recommended Woonton Building Contractors by a colleague.
