WBC Civil Engineering Contractors have constructed a number of buildings across the Co-operative Farms business over the last 20 years. Their buildings have been excellent and have stood the test of time. They project managed the excavations, ground works, drainage, the steel frame buildings and the concrete works as a single cohesive project. They have also dealt with the tricky area of CDM. WBC worked alongside other contractors, who were involved with the fit-out of the buildings with specialist equipment. Their latest project was the construction of a 6,000 Tonne grain store and 3,000 Tonne refrigerated potato store on our Fenland farm. The construction project was completed on time to a high standard. We have been very pleased with WBC’s performance.
Mr. D. Gardener, Co-operative Farms
When looking for a new civil engineering and structural building contractors for the Cadbury Marlbrook site some 5 years ago, I was recommended Woonton Building Contractors by a colleague. Since then WBC have undertaken a number of construction projects, all of which have been done to a high standard of quality and safety. I have been pleased how they have offered innovative and constructive suggestions as projects progress on ways of overcoming issues as they arise. I have also introduced them to the Cadbury factory at Chirk and, again, they have proved themselves to be highly competent civil engineering contractors. A couple of things that stand out are
I will always consider Woonton Building Contractors in future and have no hesitation in recommending them to other organisations.
